Life in the fasting lane - how lifestyle impacts progression of neurological conditions
Diet and exercise continue to be regarded as one of major pillars of Lifestyle Medicine. At the Lifestyle Health Foundation in partnership with the Person-Centred Neurosciences Society, we 'look through trauma-informed lenses' to recognise the significance of emotions. Consequently, we recognise the emotional significance of words like diet and exercise. In this talk the focus will be more on:
- roots to lifestyle health, including the food we eat and the liquids with drink, along with the growing research evidence to illustrating how not eating (especially comfort foods), can bring significant benefits to a person diagnosed with a neurological condition such as Parkinson's.
