ARRS: how do the roles work and how best can we support them

This session will explore the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS) and its transformative impact on primary care. By integrating pharmacists, physiotherapists, podiatrists, paramedics, and other allied health professionals into Primary Care Networks (PCNs), ARRS aims to improve patient access, reduce GP workloads, and deliver holistic, patient-centered care.

Participants will learn how to effectively integrate ARRS roles into their teams, optimize multidisciplinary collaboration, and leverage key resources from NHS England, Health Education England, and other evidence-based studies. The session will also address common challenges, offer practical solutions, and share strategies for ensuring the sustainability and success of these roles.

Key Takeaways

Practical strategies for team integration and workflow optimization.
Insights into resources and evidence supporting ARRS implementation.
Techniques to maximize patient outcomes and ensure role sustainability.
This session is ideal for GPs, practice managers, and allied health professionals involved in PCNs, aiming to unlock the full potential of ARRS.
