Claire Fuller Confirmed to speak at Best Practice London 2023
CloserStill Media, organisers of the Best Practice London conference and exhibition are delighted to announce Professor Claire Fuller is confirmed to speak at Best Practice London 2023.

Professor Fuller is an absolute legend within the general practice and primary care community. She is a practicing GP and CEO for the Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care System (ICS), who believes in a population health management approach and is a national population health management champion.

Surrey Heartlands is a wave 1 ICS, covering a population of 1.1M with a budget of £1.5Bn, accountable for reducing population health inequalities and delivering safe, high quality care in a sustainable way.

Claire champions true citizen and professional engagement (of the broadest remit) and has led the formation and development of the Surrey Heartlands Academy, with a foundation of mixed methodology democratic engagement, and a true commitment to co-design, co-production and co-delivery of services.

Claire regularly speaks nationally about the amazing work being undertaken in Surrey Heartlands, and on many important issues including multi-professional leadership and population health management.

Claire will be chairing a keynote session on the first day of the conference, Wednesday 8th March, titled "Supporting the vision of the Fuller stocktake."

She will joined onstage for the panel discussion by:

  • Dr Amanda Doyle, Interim Medical Director for Primary Care, NHS England
  • Marianne Monie, Director of Primary Care Workforce, NHS England

Hear from Claire, along with other senior figures in primary care from NHS England and other Arm’s Length Bodies at Best Practice London 2023 and gain important updates on national policy. This is your opportunity to join debates on the major challenges and shifts in general practice, on varied topics such as workforce, new roles, uptake of digital, healthcare inequalities and integrated care.

Best Practice London will see a raft of healthcare leaders, policymakers, service users and front-line primary care professionals take to the stage to participate in more than 100 clinical conference and workshops sessions. The entire educational programme will be delivered across six dedicated theatres with relevant content for GPs, Practice Managers, Practice Pharmacists and other ARRS roles.

The show is tailored to meet the CPD requirements of healthcare professionals with clinical content closely following the GP curriculum spearheaded by the Royal College of General Practitioners and your attendance will earn you up to 12 CPD points.

All UK registered general practitioners, primary healthcare professionals, and other general practice staff and ARRS roles can attend Best Practice London 2023 for free.
