Chris Stewart

Business Manager, Whitby Health Partnership
Chris Stewart graduated with a degree in Neuroscience from Liverpool University, before commencing the graduate programme with Tesco Plc. After 21 years working across a variety of operational roles, he decided to embark on a career change and joined the NHS, where he is now the Business Manager for Whitby Health Partnership; a large practice in Cheshire with 16,200 patients. As the Business Manager, Chris is tasked with progressing the practice on issues such as improving access, increasing capacity, improving productivity and profit measures. During his first year at the practice, he began to introduce new technology and automation to alleviate some of the operational pressure. Surgery Assist (formally known as EDATT) was implemented to improve patient access and remove the volume of tasks from the workflow.
