With over 20 years in nursing, Julie Roye's journey from nursing to midwifery to primary care has culminated in her role as Head of Nursing for Primary Care at the East London Foundation Trust. With a robust background in healthcare, Julie holds the distinction of being a qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner. Recently Royal College of Nursing (RCN) Awards have awarded Julie with Leadership Award and the most prestigious award of RCN Nurse of the Year. Julie is also a Queens Nurse and has been shortlisted for HSJ as well as Nursing Times awards. Julie's commitment to advancing healthcare knowledge and practice extends beyond her clinical roles. She serves as an editor and producer of factual content for the Independent Nurse Practitioner journal, the RCNi Cancer Nursing Practice and the RCNi Nursing Management journals contributing significantly to the dissemination of valuable information and has published several articles.
