Dr. Lucy Williamson is an award-winning Registered Nutritionist and former Vet with over 30 years of expertise spanning health, food, and farming. As the founder of The Gut Project, her evidence-based approach in sharing nutrition knowledge focuses on the gut microbiome and nutrient-rich foods for whole-body health.
A passionate advocate for the connection between food, health, and the environment, Lucy works across the entire food system—from regenerative farmers to her personalised nutrition consultancy. She is also an approved trainer in Nutrition and Gut Health for allied Health Practitioners and previously a lecturer in Nutrition and Dietetics.
Her recently launched Gut Health learning platform for the public and health professionals, empowers individuals to make food choices that benefit both personal health and planetary well-being. A sought-after speaker, Lucy enjoys simplifying nutrition science into clear, practical advice and contributes across media, most recently on BBC Radio 4’s Food Programme.
