Speaker Faculty

Rachael lives in Sunderland. She graduated from Sunderland University with a degree in Business and also has 2 post graduates as well as additional qualifications in change management and design thinking. Over the past 15 years she has worked across Health and Social Care to develop and implement a number of Technology Enabled Care projects including Telehealth, Digital Doctors and Assistive Technology. She also leads on digital inclusion for Health Innovation and on behalf of the ICB, has built up a community of over 400 people who come together throughout the year to learn and share. Rachael is particularly interested in how digital transformation can achieve better outcomes for patients whilst reducing health inequalities and creating efficiencies within the system. As well as the human factors to adoption. Outside of work Rachael enjoys being outdoors, walking, spending time with her partner and her daughter and connecting with the many wonderful friends she has. She loves reading and travelling and listening to live music across north east venues, mostly indie!
