Sam Jackman, Co-Founder and Director of Boost Innovations, is driven by a personal mission to revolutionise post-breast cancer treatment products. Inspired by her mother’s experience with mastectomy 17 years ago, Sam embarked on a journey to address the shortcomings of traditional external breast prostheses. Boost Innovations has pioneered a groundbreaking approach to breast form design, creating patented open-structured breast shapers from medical silicone. Through a unique low-waste production process in the UK and a co-design approach with patients, Boost addresses the inequalities experienced by breast form wearers. Sam’s diverse background in education, cultural heritage, and project management has infused the business with a creative perspective. By collaborating closely with women who have undergone breast cancer treatment, Boost Innovations designs innovative solutions that prioritise comfort, inclusivity, and choice for all women.
